7 things everyone should know about personal hygiene

It was a little bit funny when I received an e-mail from one of the blogreaders asking me about advice regarding personal hygiene!!

I have never actually thought of sharing or presentingadvice about it until he brought it up to my mind…telling me his story …He wasraised in an orphanage in Spain all his life and after several years ofstruggle he finally got a decent job at a local library and started to work onhis skills, Literature. culture and of course looks!! He has never been toldhow to take care of himself!! And it just jumped to my mind whether these arethings that we should be told and taught or it just comes with instinct...

Just like cats !!???

In both cases I believea person should seek knowledge and look for new methods to make his/her life abetter one whether its health or finances or any other aspect .

Here is a list of7 important things that most people skip when they are conducting their hygieneroutines:

1. Scrubbing isnever while washing:

We have been toldthat we should use scrubbers and loafs to scrub while we bath or while we washour faces. well few years ago I got my eyes at some good dermatology and skincare articles which recommended and insisted on scrubbing before washing(exfoliating) as the act of scrubbing under the hydration has several sideeffect like de-hydration of the skin, or losing the natural hydration materialswe have in our skin also the redness and aching of skin (damaging the skin) asa result of the disconnection of pain receptors while washing due to water,soap and skin interaction which makes you not realize any harm you are doing toyour skin until the foam is gone.

So make sure to scrub your body with a dry loaf beforewashing and keep it in a dry place. (It should be replaced after 15 baths asmaximum).

2. Mixed Scentsand odors are the worst:

I worked as samplereceptionist in a food and drug lab for almost 3 months and I was introduced tothe great world of flavors and scents. I remember how the whole lab smelledlike jasmine for 3 weeks after we examined a set of scents made in Malaysiawhich were imported to be used in some body Wash in Jordan. We only examined asample of 1 milliliter and after few weeks I was supervising the trashing ofthe leftover samples and ….a disaster happened when a less than 1 milliliter ofjasmine were spilled on some frozen meat samples. The smell was a killer andthe lab technicians were struck and had to re-examine the scents which succeededin the organic test over and over yet it was clear that there were a missingpart of information regarding the smell. I remember one of the technicians explainingthe dangers of mixed odors on the human skin and specially the gentle ones likethe sides of your neck or under your arms and how these scents are constructedof extreme chemicals that stay where they were put for 3 to 5 years every timeyou use a deodorant or a scented body wash !.

Be careful withusing these products and make sure you use the same body care collectioninstead of using multiple brands with multiple chemical ingredients andportions.

3. Understandyour body construction and poise.

A study of the AHAindicated the 43% of average Americans does not wash the back of their kneesand 47% of the average Americans have dry knee back after a 5 minuetsshower!!

You have to makesure that the water washes every part of your body and make sure to be driedafterwards too!! The leg and toes are the most parts that we forget to dry and it'snot leg fungus that you should worry about but arthritis after 20 years fromnow!

4. Organic isthe Thing:

I am not againstusing chemical cleansing products but after several experiences and endlessresearches conducted by the experts it has been proved that organic elementsare the best for skin and hair care , all you need to do is to make sure tohave three things around your shower

(Oil, Honey, and Lemon)

Beforethe shower:

Honey: a 10 minuetsfacial and make sure to put it on your elbows and knees.

Duringthe shower:

Lemon: make sureto wash your face and under the arms areas ( you will never smell sweat afterregular use) also use it on the knees and elbows while in shower.

After theshower:

Olive Oil: threefinger tips dipped in oil and use it as a cream , do it while you are in themoist shower before going into the dry air.

(Also you can useit mixed with lemon or honey as a before face mask or hair mask)

5. Short Nailsare the new trend.

Personally I wasnever fond of long nails as I am a regular writer and piano player and nailswere a big problem specially while playing piano, but by time women tend togrow nails for famine reasons which I really do not understand!!! It just looksbetter I guess! But these nails need intensive care and I do not mean thesaloon care as much as the personal care you give on your own to your fingers,even as a MAN.

Fingers are our amazing tool for interacting with oursurroundings and we have to make sure we have clean fingers and nails all thetime. Each two weeks is the perfect time to cut your nails and for the ladieswho like the long nails, trimming is a maintenance and there is no alternativefor cutting the whole nails to the sharp edge of your nails every 3 months as amaximum.

6.The mostneglected part of the body.

The look of herface was hilarious, when I told her that she should brush her LIPS!!

I just cannot takeit any more looking at women lips which carry the traces of a thousand otherolder colors!! and the black traces of smokes on smoking people lips , now I amnot being weird looking at people's lips but it's so disgusting and irritatingspecially when a woman is dressed in a 100$+ dress yet have a homeless person hygienecare !!!!

brushing your lipsmust be a daily habit right after you wash your teeth , you can use your toothbrush just apply some natural soap to your lips (I use Olive oil soap) andbrush your lips gently for a brief 30 seconds, you can apply olive oil directlyto them or use a special treatment lipstick.

And you would haveclean and healthy lips and gums.

7.It's aroutine not a habit.

Think of yourpersonal hygiene as a routine rather than a habit where it's hard to changehabits it's much easier to add and delete things in your daily routines. Makesmart steps, have an effective system.

You can make asmall basket or a drawer for your every day hygiene routine and make a numberof steps to follow like this one:

-Wash yourhands

-Wash yourface-ears-nose-eyebrows-chin and neck

-Wash your handsagain- then elbows-under your arms and wash your hands again.

-Wash your legsand toes and your knees then wash your hands again.

-Floss your teeth

-Brush your teethand your lips.

-Use a convenientmouth wash

-Comb your hairwith your fingers with some water.

-Then wash yourhands one final time.

-Dry every partyou washed.

-Put some oliveoil on your face and skin.

-Get out of thewash room

-Comb your hairand make sure to comb it every day on a different side to keep the hairfollicles active.

It's a simpleroutine that you can add or omit anything from it as it works for you!!

We all aspire to have organized homes, offices , rooms and gardens ! organizing gives you the feeling of releif and it actually makes Thinking easier! I am sure you must have been in that messy place where you tried to do some work and just could not go on with it or had to move to another tidyer place ! It is verry simple , when you organizse the exteriors of you life its a matter of time until you have an organized interiors of your life !

So, what should you do !!? just start organizing and keep every thing tidy and clean !! ..well ......... yes for a start !! but being organized is much more than putting those piles of paper in files or arranging your Bookshelves !! It takes a creative mind that works within the setting of your house or the place you work at and makes it most convevnient to you and the people you care about !!!

I will show you a couple of organizing ideas i use around my home office that illustrates the essense of being creative while organziing your house !!^_^

1.Smart Phone Holder:

I have just Got my Smart Phone recently and it was a well studied choice after i felt that my old cellphone was keeping me behind, specially in my work. I had to save up a little bit and all I managed to buy was It. Nothing more! Not that i could not afford buying it's accesorries , but i am not that kind of girl who buy things that have only one function !! I think of being effective and smart when it comes to money .:). so apparently I had to find a way to keep my Smart Buddy displayed well on my desk , yet not to buy a new un-neccessary gadget !. and here it is.
An old casset cover will do just fine!!

2.Pen Bin
I started using a computer since i was 8 years old or even younger and floppy disks were an invention at my times !! (lol, not that i am that old .. but come on!! they are an invention still!!) and obviously we had a gazzilion disks laying around the house, some were important. some were infected and some had forgotten homework papers since the 5th grade!! So i decided i clear the used space and donate the ones still usable and keep the important ones until i transfer the data to CD's. and there were some that were good for nothing!!
So They work just fine as Pen Bins for a computer Geek like me !! ^_^

3.Cables Hanger
I bet you have a big mess right under your feet at your office! don't you!? I used to take forever just to find the cellphone charging cable and I had to sit under my desk (Really!! for more than 10 minuets) to be able to find a cable and use it.. as I used to work in a company that used cubicle offices ! so ..it was a nightmare until I just decided to fix this.... once and for all!
A clothes hanger and few paper-clips seemed like what I needed !

So, what is holding you back from making your Office a great source of organized creative ideas !!

Organizing 101

Being organized is one of the things I have always been mesmerized with since childhood , and later as a woman I started to become more aware of the importance of having a neat, clean, and organized place weather its a room, an office or even a bathroom !! and after several years it became a habit and a behaviour of mine where I don't feel overwhelmed by it .. I actually feel much happier and relaxed as it became a routine and not a chore .

In this post I will list 4 of the most important points any one should take into consideration when trying to organize their homes , place, office ...or just about any thing ,any where and any time:

1.Have a place for every thing.
This is the most important point , and I can not stress any more of how much its important to have a place for every thing. when you set a space for office supplies or accessories or cables it would be no brainier to come back and find every thing in its place and ready to be used instead of having things all around the house and at last you end up buying a new scissors just because you didn't find the one you already have !!.

2.Have a system , and stick to it.
This might sound a little bit vague, but here is the deal, having a system is as important as the first point, it is actually what makes your house organized !! systems must be integrated ,

For example :

I go for grocery every two weeks ,what I do is just checking my pantry cabin which is coded based on the materials and things I have and with a clear place for beans, chicken soup or flour i make sure I dont move these things from their place and i put it back in its place , so what i only do when i am going to buy grocery is checking the cabin, and the areas that are cleared are the ones of the products i should buy, i also make sure to buy the amounts that are enough for the cooking portions that i use, and when i come back i start putting the new products i bought but i make sure i put the old ones in the fron to be used first then the new ones at the back to be used later , because i need to make sure i dont use something with an expired date or nearley expired !!.

as you read above this is what a system....its complete , integrated and flexible.

3.Make it easy for any one to be in your house or place and use your things without being lost.
We all have guests in our houses or work partners that take our place when we take a day off, so make sure you have a clear system . Having a system is good but making it clear is great ,
For example :

I make sure i use a label for my cabinets and drawers , small colored labels that i make on my own and i try to keep a color coding system , so in my office you would find three drawers all labelled from outside and it would take you less than a minuet to find any kind of office supplies wether its a binder or white paper or florcent pens! i keep all similar needed things in this area together . so in the final picture it would make sense for some one looking for a pen to find a small clean note book to use with it !! just like it would make sense when some one is looking for a charger to find a power monkey and batteries! see.... its pure logic !

4.Think of being Effective every second of you day, make things Effecient , time saving and smart!!
This is related to having clear systems , where things make sense yet save more time, let me explain how this works.

For example:
In my home office i have a clear contacts system , i have a place for all of my clients contact cards in a binder that i bought for this purpose , so you would expect to have it always in my office , yes!! but being the human being we all are, i tend to somehow fill my purse with contact cards and rush to it whenever i need to make a call!! i just feel lazy sometimes to put the card i had today in the binder!! so what i did was geting a small contatiner labeled and cleared for the cards i have and whenever i am back from some meeting or some class i throw it in that container and whenever its half or 3 quarters full i clear it , throw the ones i dont need and file the ones i need in my binder according to the profession as i keep forgetting peoples names but always remebering what they do !!!

This is an example of effective time saving yet flexible system that suits me and my habits ! try making your own !

It has been always a mess to find my praying clothes specially when i use the ones with the same design of my mother's, and as we live in a multiple floor house it would always be in the floor that i am not in right now !lol !!!.. so i just made my own set .

here are the things i put all together in one place that can move along with me even when i travel .

1.Praying Clothes

2.My Quran

3.A Florescent Pen for my Quran Memorizing and my favourite verses.

4.My Prayers Books

5.My Praying Carpet

6.A Small Convenient Bag .

7.My Prayers Alarm, and Qibla Application on my mobile which I carry around in my pocket all day long.

Understanding Your To-do list (Part 2)

As I promised in Part 1 of understanding your To-Do list article, Iwill continue to give you a clearer view of how to deal with your to do listsand how to have better results.

First of all we need to have a more comprehensive understanding ofthe nature of to-do lists and completing them; while others may confirm it as aprocess I just address it as a habit! Just a habit! An organized habit. And anyhabit would have:

An ultimate goal
Expected Steps to reachit
Time Frame
Action
Results
A Sustainability plan tostick to these results or enhance it!

This is basically what you need to think of every time you startfilling your to do list! I know most of you just grab a pen and paper and writeit down then start the work. I assure you that planning this ahead will saveyou much time in the next day and in your life future!

Now what should you expect while doing a task??!! There would be 3major things to expect while doing your task:

1. Distractions:

a) People:

Thisis what usually happens when a person walks in at your office and wants to havethe usual morning chat or a manager expecting a full brief report ofyesterday's meeting in those 20 minuets! That you just set out to send this veryimportant e-mail for a client!!!

Here are some tips you can use in such cases:

· Prevention: try your bestto prevent such events from happening by:

Closing your office door
Hanging a small sign of donot disturb i am making money sign!
Creating an unwelcomingenvironment like few seats or no seats at all to cut time other people spendwith you at your office
Sending a circulation emailtelling people that you would be super busy on specific times and would appreciatesupport and cooperation from your colleagues to focus and come up with the bestresults!

How to deal with it if ithappens ??
Do not ignore the person,it will just cause more time to be wasted and might raise some personal issuesas it might be understood as disrespect sign. Just look to the person and tryto understand what he/she wants
Reply in a present mood andbe affirmative in your voice tone that you understood what they said and thatyou will do it right after you finish this task you are doing.
Ask them to leave as youneed to focus (be sure to use nice words)

b) Technology:

Sometimes technology becomes the hurdle instead of the helping handwhile we are doing our tasks when we constantly receive Emails and telephonecalls. Here are some tips to help you deal with this kind of distraction:

· set a time to check youre-mail

I used to put a small note at the end of my signature settingthe times I check my e-mail and what days of the week so I do not receive toomuch e-mails all through the day and become busy all day long !

You can also just gooffline at least until you are done with the task
Ask the operator to takenotes instead of answering the phone
Unplug your land phoneline.
Put your mobile on silentand hide in some drawer so you would not be distracted (do not to remove the vibration)
Or you can just put it onflight mood where you would not be able to receive calls; instead you will receivenotifications of calls as msgs or (tags in smart phones!)

Do not risk your task!! taking the telephone you will waste time anyways as you will at least be mind occupied for the 5 minuets thinking of thecontent of the phone call.

c) You!!

Most of the time you might feel like (just not working!) where youkeep coming up with excuses to not do your tasks which is known by theterm (procrastination or delaying). Sometimes you might start thinking like it'snot an important task anyways!! Now there is a solution for such feelings andmood swings. And you have to work on these feelings as habit based on the followingstrategies:

Think of the resultsinstead of the process of the task! You will feel its importance! And thereforefeel motivated to do it
Think of how you will feelwhen you do not accomplish this task and the result (the ultimate results) ofnot doing it!
Just Don't Think and Do it!As Michael Jordan said! Just Do it! Do not over think things!

2. Missing parts of thetask

You have to be ready to face some missing parts that you did not preparefor in these tasks, do not panic and try to take few minutes break to re thinkwhat you need to do and start working again !

3. Change in plans:

Things might come up and it'stotally up to you to decide which is more important the task you have in handor the one you just received or remembered or just happened!

Finally you need to know when to just stop and give up thistask to be done later or to start it over and that would be in two cases.

1. When you wasted 2/3 of theexpected time that you set for the task and did not reach the 25% limit ofcompleting it.

2. When you are currently working inand Anti-Task Completion Environment. Like trying to complete some work reportwhile setting in the living room at home with the children's voices all aroundthe place! You need to study the environment very well! It can be a greatfactor of the success of your tasks!

As I was going through my papers andtrying to organize my 2011 yearly files I just could not resist spending moretime reading articles that I have cut from local , national and internationalnewspapers covering the revolutionary year events and I thought….

I only wish that my father is alive...Totell him what happened and to get some deep thoughts of what is hapenening! Butsomehow I know what my father would have said as he knew a lot and said alittle!!

It is very easy to go with the flow evenif the flow means trouble, I am not saying I am against these revolutions but Iam not saying I agree with them. All I can think about when I hear the news areother people's opinions, people like Nasser, King Faisal or Omar Almukhtar! oran opinion of a the few good old men like Mohammed hasanain Haikal who happensto be taking steps back writing his words instead of saying them these days~!...

I almost forgot Tunisia, and Egypt butLibya was something else! I imagined how this revolution will be written in ourhistory books of the 9th grade in few years! And I thought it might sound likethis:

وجاءت جواهر الاحرار ..لنؤسس شركات حماية .. ليبيا .. هنالك شبه بينكوبين لبنان المليشبات وطرابلس .. !

10 Facts USAID Should Know About Jordanian NGO's

Being a social activist and working with multiple Non-Governmentalorganizations in Jordan, I was able to consist an idea of the Funder culturemost of these organizations have and There were times where I struggled with myself,my beliefs, the organization's policies and people with powers in theseorganizations and finally choose to work from outside instead of inside asconsultant where I apply my own methods yet meet their goals.

I do not emphasize that USAID only should know these facts but alsoany funding agency working in Jordan or planning to work in Jordan, and I clearlystate that this article is a simple start for a series of articles that willcover such issues in the social development work field in a more focused scope.

So what are the facts that USAID should know while working with aJordanian NGO:

Fact #1

90% of the founders are in it for the money.

The founder shall never be the CEO for more than 2 years in a roll,and no matter what they do, never buy the fact that they are doing it for thelove of it ONLY!

NGO's are supposed to be Non-Governmental organizations which arenot owned by the government yet not owned by any other entity! And for any NGOto succeed it should have a team of dedicated people who are willing to givepower and take less responsibility from time to time, instead of being thecenter of every policy, meeting and action plan!.

Fact#2

Success stories are true, for the first year of projects only!!

I regret to say that I was a part of making success stories look(much prettier) than what they looked in reality, I had no choice at that timeand I tried my best to be honest on the fact basis. Yes most of these storiesare not true 100% you must ask for full contact information for these people,and meet with them without previous planning outside these NGO's circle ofcontact. you might get amazed of how much these people have benefited from yourprojects or just how much you need to enhance it , both ways you will know abetter storey ..A true one!

Fact#3

NGO's in Jordan have plans, schedules and policies that usuallyare not completed or met or followed!

Most of their work is done atthe last minute……… literally I have seen annual reports done in 3 hours! 3hours! And felt sorry for operational department employees who worked for daysand weeks making reports which stayed unread in the inboxes of managers for weeks!And had to work with un-human work capacities to make these reports on thedelivery day for some reason!

Fact#4

Organizations using big venues and 5 star hotels are seekingimage and propaganda.

I have never really understood the real reason for such big costswhere the money goes to international hotels and venues!! Isn't the goal ofsuch events to show the effect and impact of the organization projects! Thenthe event itself must do these values instead of bragging about rural area successstories in 5 stars hotels!

I bet that 3, 2 and even 1 star hotels have more potential on theoperational and support level of the event and it's owned by realJordanians who will use the money to grow their businesses and enhance their employees'salaries!

Fact#5

NGO's in Jordan Hire their employees based in 4 factors:

1. Family relation level to thepeople in the Managing Board.

2. Family status: (Good family names are a requirement even ifit means retarded minds!)

3. The well known quota where it hasto be a balanced number of (Palestinians–Jordanians)/ (Muslims- Christians)

4. Experience instead of skill.

Fact#6

The turnover rate of NGO's In Jordan is high.

Working in an NGO should be based on passion and dedication andsomehow after a while, things change and the founding TEAM just moves on withtheir passion and dedication!! Suddenly, the vision and mission wall bannersbecome wordless and the echo of coins starts to fill the office!

Fact#7

Big Salaries are a sign of big lies!

I was astonished of the paychecks of NGO's managers in Jordan, whyin the world would a CEO of an NGO receive 10K+$ monthly salary! That's a120k++$ in a year, a whole project can be started with such budget! It mightsound ok for people living in the states but in Jordan living standards are differentand especially in such work field.

YOU DO NOT EXPECT TO BE RICH AFTER FEW YEARS IN THIS CAREER! Atleast if you are of those who have passion and dedication~!!!

Fact#8

Glamourous Head quarters are a coverup!

If a project's scope is developing rural areas, then it should bebased in a rural area! Try for once to have the head quarter in a rural areawhere the Project Manager Lives with the people of this area and workwith them on their challenges! I never understood why a head quarter is basedin some prestigious area in Amman while its operations are in Ghor Al-Safi~! Havea branch in Amman and a head quarter in there! You will see how things go ~!

Fact#9

The Operations Departments are the worst equipped departmentswith the worse working environment and highest turnover rates.

Understanding Your To Do List (Part 1)

Don't we all wish to be able to check off our to-do list everyday and feel this amazing accomplishment feeling!

In order to be able to do this we need to understand the nature of ourto-do lists and the do and don'ts of it.

So what a good to do list should look like!

A good to do list should be:

1. Brief

Never write too many details, a task should have up to 3 subtasks orelse the sub tasks would become independent major tasks.

2. Manually written

No matter how much you want to become a technology wizard, yourbrain does not visualize the task unless you write it down using a pen orpencil and I would prefer a pencil as you will associate four senses with this process:touch, seeing, hearing and smelling!!(The pencil touching the paper has aspecial sound and smell we all love!! right ~?) And by this way you will beable to remember your tasks more , also putting this small note book or pieceof paper in your pocket and carrying it around would be much easier somehow! Weare created to be manual creatures! That's it !

3. Does Not have more than 5 majorto do's for a starter.

You have to understand the nature of the tasks you are going to do ,and in general and most cases you will not be able to expect or determine theneeded time for completing a task , not mentioning the sudden changes or turnsthat might happen in your day , So having a small and controlled to do listthat is easily fixed and changed (flexible) is much better than having a long comprehensiveone that will make you feel overwhelmed and disappointed even when you complete90% of it !i would prefer that by time you start writing the expected time you want to finish the task during or a deadline of it , but its not a must ! no need to be overwhelmed with additional time presure that you already have in your mind!

4. It must be it with you on therun

using a note pad staying at home along with all of your papers isgood but do not bother to carry it along , just use a small piece of paper andhave it with you all day long with a small pencil or pen to just tick it offyour list when you do it !I call it the action log and the one you have at homewould be the planning log.

5. It must be Always ready beforeyou sleep

This way you will be able to process it in your mind while sleepingand wake up all ready for work but never be tempted to add a big task that you justremembered in the morning, it will just keep itching your brain and mess upyour priorities.

6. It must be prioritized

Be smart when you prioritize your tasks, I usually arrange them accordingto my life goals but I put in mind my daily time routines and schedules!

7. It's a to do list not your life

Becoming very obsessed with you tasks might actually make you becomeworse at completing them , as you might do something very quickly just to checkit off your list, it would result to worse scenarios like re-doing the wholetask on harder setting or level!

If your to do list looks like this then you are close to becoming aneveryday accomplisher!

The Blank Note Book!

It has been a while since I decided to quit my job! And I am surprisedthat I managed to actually survive without the end of month paycheck!

Being self hired is one of the hardest things a person would do, especiallyif you live in a (Hala 3ammi هلا عمي ) community!! Where time has no value (basedon the mindset of people like Abo Mahjoob and Abu mohammed!).

I face daily challenges of time vampires, family and socialcommitments and the biggest one: PROCRASTINATION. Which I discovered that Ihave been tutored during the last few years working for demanding bosses where itbecame a habit to just do everything that people need and forget my own needs! It'snot a cliché'! Really.. For example somehow I managed to work for the bestnetworks on the web like Yahoo , MSN Arabia and The Onion as a freelance writer yet, I do not have my Writer portfolio completed, not even started..And I keep coming up with excuses like : I managed to get these people to hire me ! Whatdo I need the portfolio for NOW! Forgetting how much effort and time I wastedon that when I could have just sent them a link for my portfolio! This is one bigchallenge for people who work from home or even in any company!

Doing the right things in the right order all in the manner thatleads to the best results you want to reach! Not some imaginary plan that someoneelse has put for you!

So, what should I do!!

I decided I start fresh. Got myself a new notebook and wrote down everysingle thing I ever thought of starting from projects all the way toshopping lists!! and I ended up with almost 21 pages of notes.

Now that made me feel a little bit overwhelmed: S and yes, Iprocrastinated looking to all the pages and erasing the repeated notes, it tookme almost 4 days .. Of 9 hours of work in total... Yes it's that hard to focusand remember everything that has been folded into a million folds and put asideat the end of my mental attic !

I decided that these 600+ notes should be categorized andprioritized into some sort of category! Right! So what are the categories andbased on what???

I love the part where everything just ...somehow becomes connectedto my Life Goals! Which I re-write almost 3 to 5 times Daily and change themaccording to what happened just now!

Goals and plans must be Flexible ... yes this flexible that you keepchanging them to fit in your NOW life instead of your Ideal Life!

So I categorized all the notes into 10 major aspects of life :

1. Spiritual

2. Health/Wellbeing

3. Finances

4. Career

5. Personal

6. Family

7. Community

8. Friendship

9. Household

10. Recreation

Now these are the aspects that I need to cover in my life, and that mayvary from your life...But there are around 7 of them that are constant in everyperson's life... I guess!

It is very tempting that you start putting the notes in theircategories .yes I know... You may think: I am almost finished! And that is atrap my friend.

What you should do is to prioritize these aspects first as you doNOW! Then Prioritize them as you wish you do!!!!! I was amazed of how much Ineeded to change my direction!

On a scale of 1 to 10 I set theimportance of that aspect and I had to change 51% of my prioritizing! It's whatwe call in Real Life a 180 Degrees Change!!!!!

By doing that I became more aware of my direction while laterputting the notes in these categories and I started linking the notes andmerging them in multiple aspects where for example:

I wanted to work on my skills (Personal) of languages (Related toCareer) by doing self research and taking the needed classes (Related toFinances)!!

So I had to be sure that I put each note in account whenthinking of another!

I managed to make a general plan of these to do's and itbecame easier to just put whatever idea I have while washing the dishes orreading a book into some category and just forget about it until I get on withthe note book and by organizing my thoughts on this idea I would turn it into aTask or subtasks( To do List) which will lead in the end to : Me SpeakingJapanese!

This is not something you do once and expect it to work! It issomething you should do every day if not every hour specially if you areof those who are self hired where you own your own destiny and time is yourblank paycheck !

Just Go and Buy that blank Note Book and pour all your ideas into it!

Start making these to do lists and start ticking the done!!

It's the most amazing feelingto actually do something you promised yourself to do!

4 Hours trip ... thoughts !

Trip Start :

I was thinking , not really , just sitting in the bus , feeling lucky a little bit , for having two seats for my self instead of sharing my seat with an old army lutentant or a loud woman , and paying back kind smiles to the trip attendant who I felt lucky again for having him instead of one of the angry ladies.. those who are with no faces at all!!

I have been travelling back and forth from amman to aqaba , trying to please people , once for attending activity and voluntary days , once for helping with the complicated clinic admissions , sometimes for buying things and cleaning up new furniture , and all I can relate this to ,is a previous stage of my life , where I was jobless ( same as now ) , single ( yup still) , and some how not figuring out what to expect ?!!. the only difference is that now I don’t know .. what direction to go for .

I was talking to friend last night , and all the advices that I seem to have fro him or any other person is :

CHOOSE!

Its funny , because I keep telling people the same thing , but once I was on a cross roads , I couldn’t . shall I go for a scholarship , leave the country , start a business, work in aqaba , move to amman, buy a car , adopt a cat, clean out the garden or just tidy up my closet !

I think as much as I hate this stage in my life, I know that almost every woman on this earth goes through this ,weather she is arsabic or not , muslim or not , single, married , mother or sister … women are the same ,, “ essence “ wise . we all care about every one around and put ourselves last.

Even in the silliest ways.. by givng up the last donut !

I hate it now , but I think , I will miss it at some next point of my .ife , where I would have limited choices , less responsibilitiesbut hevier and few ideas , or lets say clearer ideas .

I was thinking , what actually makes a person choose something ! what are the crieterias and factors that makes a specific desion more usable and suitable than another !

I know that it’s the personal relif and well being factor after all , but some time some ones well being is depending on other people well being around him or her !

Even if this menas giving up his or her own well being at some point or to some extent !..

Did I state it clear , I don’t know .. I know hat you relate to what I am saying.

1 Hour Later :

There is this kid , sitting few seats form me .

It's kind of strange, I saw how his mother and father put him safely to his seat , and started discussing if he would like it or not, with his grandfather. I guess … he is traveling with his grandfather, they are talking , and he is explaining the high way signs for him , and stating every possible reasn for the kid not to go upstairs for the next level of the bus , yes ,, I hate two level busses . I am in the lower level , that’s why I hate it .

Now he started .. standing in the middle of the bus and dropping those cute nods and looks.. (see the video up here , he is so freking hapy about something i do not know !LOOL)

In general I don’t like it , it's just a start of a very tyring relationship between you and the whole trip !!!! ..

What I liked, is how they were speaking about him , he was very important , you could sence the sincerety of concern ,, truthfully from some ones voice.. i mean i have heard parents, talking about their children like they are talking about a bag ! but these were talkig to his grandfather like ,, they are the ones travelling, and the grandfather is talking to the kid like a Person . using correct language and clear voice .. ..

This Got me thinking , If we just can feel how our families do , and understand it .. , it would have been very easy to deal with our lives and just about... Every thing.

2:45 Hours later :
I am trying to enjoy my long gazes out of the window, where I think of specifically nothing of importrance ..

I don’t like the smell , of other pople breaths.. 4hours can make u feel like u know a lot about the10 people around you .

Now , I know I should not think a lot about what to choose in my life through these 4 hours, not even in a trial to pass time …. It would turn into day dreaming activity and endless scenarios.
finally it will become unreachable and Un-True,and i do not know ...It just does not work like that .

3:15 Hours Later
I just want time to pass, and I listen to some of my crappy music on my cellphone, read a couple of pages from an old book,And sleeping is not an option , I am sitting in the middle of the engine ,and that kid ,, is so not giving up on teasing every one in the bus .

4:12 Hours Later :
This is not looking good , protestors are gathered at the (Dowar Aldakleyeh ) , and the Bus driver is trying to find a way to Abdali , it seems that it will take for ever to get to Home Now !

10 Common Nonsenses ! About ( Arabs )

Hello my dear apples!

As I promised last week, I will continue my series of the Nonsense! And today I will be talking about common ideas and stereotypes about Arabs!

The three B’s! Bombers, Billionaires and Belly Dancers! This is an interesting test study conducted by Philip Jones, and honestly I just could not Google any more of these studies and links ! It made me feel bad! LOL ….

Go see them for yourself!...

I did some research before writing this post, according to some advice from one of this blog readers and this time I guarantee you Ala'a ... my None-senses are based on studies and researches !

None sense Number 1: Arabs are Muslims!

While many Arab countries are close to 100% Muslim, it is not universal. 30% of Lebanese Arabs are not Muslim, 11% of Arab Kuwaitis are not Muslim, 10% of Syrian Arabs are not Muslim, 6% of Egyptian Arabs are not Muslim, 5% of Jordan’s Arabs are not Muslim: most of these Arab non-Muslims are Christian.

In the U.S., two-thirds of Arab-Americans are Christian.

Nonsense Number 2: Polygamy !

It’s a very small fraction. And i can prove it! I have done some research, and I chosed Saudi Arabia, the country that is known for polygamy all around the world, I have checked The Ministry Of Planning Bulletins of population surveys and here is my math:

The number of married males = 3,251,091 (Source: Bulletin of the Ministry of Planning, p. 0.79) The number of married females = 3,271,913 (Source: Bulletin of the Ministry of Planning, p. 0.79)
Number of males who are married to more than one wife =
3271913 - 3251091 = 20 822 man Multiplexer
Maximum percentage of married men from more than one wife (the girl) = 0.64%.!!!!!!!

Which means that the percentage of men who are married to more than one wife in Saudi Arabia is less than 1% !! See it’s the media messing with your head!

And for the record Arabs and Muslims did not initiate this! Polygamy was practiced by God's prophets according to the bible!

David had at least 18 wives (1 Samuel 18:27, 25:39-44; 2 Samuel 3:3, 3:4-5, 5:13, 12:7-8, 12:24, 16:21-23)

Solomon had 700 wives (1 Kings 11:3)

Why isn’t any one talking about these religions and those guys!!

None sense Number 3: Camels, and Bedouin life style!

We do not ride camels, actually there are people who have never rode a camel in their lives and yes they are Arabs! We have cars, and we live in houses, and we drink Pepsi and order domino's! Well at least in Jordan we do these things!

Nonsense Number 4: Family Issues And Women Oppression.

We have the highest lifelong marriages, and the least divorce rates ! We also have issues just like any other countries in the world! And it’s just the media that highlights what matters for GOD knows why reasons! And makes this another label for Arabs.

Nonsense Number 5: Oil Rich.

Only 7 countries out of 21 countries have oil ... yes these countries are rich, but the other 14 countries have endless economical problems and technically living on foreign aid and World Bank! LOL.

None sense number 6: Political Disputes.

We have two main problems in the Middle East! Iraq and Palestine. it’s been like really long time and we kind of got used to having political disputes where everyone have an opinion but its only when it comes to these two issues. And yes there is Lebanon, and Syria, but even in such countries people do not seem to worry that much and it all goes down to political lobbies and talk fights! Unless some else starts something!

Jordan; for example is in the middle of this buzz and we are just COOL! so do not generalize and do not cancel your trip to Syria because its not safe in iraq !

Nonsense Number 7: Belly Dance.

Now this is so stupid! We have other dancing styles ! And women do dance but not in the context that people imagine in the western culture. It’s a kind of celebration and it’s practiced by almost every Middle Eastern woman! But it’s not an identity!

Nonsense Number 8: Education.

Arab countries and Arabs are of the most educated countries, and only in a couple of countries and due to war or poverty that education is less effective. The real deal is not that Arabs are not educated, they are freely willingly & ~~designly~~ educated. And people who think do not live for long just like any other country and any time! i guess !

Nonsense Number 9: Arab Countries Are All Arabs.

Arabs countries are very ethnically varied, there are lots of international citizens, Dubai for example is a truly global place with almost 202 nationalities living all in harmony !and making money out of it !

Nonsense Number 10: Label, Label.

Arabs come from 21 countries, with so many different cultural backgrounds, some Arabic accents are considered a new language, traditions are different, music, arts, and life styles are different. So do not use a label of Arabs common ideas when you meet an Arab!

I have never seen a gun, rode a camel, been rich, Prayed in Mecca, been oppressed, or bombed myself! And yes I am an Arab who hates falafel!

Time Vampires !

I have always thought of myself as an organized person , and time is an essential asset in my life , i do not waste time !..

going into discussions for no obvious reason is not my thing , i (Almost ) never go out unless i am going to : Meet interesting people, make money , Make some one make me money , or Learn something valuable from some one !

This might sound a little bit odd , and closed ! but yes .. i do not like to hang out with people like me !.. i mean what is the point!... its like talking to a mirror !

I prefer being friends with some one who is better than me , or who is a little bit less than me , to learn from the first one and to help the second one become a better person , learning is all by observation one must say!

Now. what really bugs me off, is when some one , who has no or little value of time , start hanging around me, and tells me that we can be friends ! ..

Its like:Hey Eman .. What Up!! Come waste your life with me .. ohh come on , its only 30 minutes that will never come back ! no Big Deal ..Yalla !

LOL.. i hav e a big imagination yes i know !.. so the deal is .. i just do not feel any good around such people , and no matter how strict , professional and straight to the point person i migh look ! i am weak when it comes to people asking for my help !.. that is why i quit working in hospitals, because i could not stop sypmethizing with the patients, and felt davestated when ever i lost one !.
this is my weakness point the :HELP..HELP call !lol

Some times i get calls and invitations form friends about going out to have drink in a lousy place with no context of speech and no one new involved !or prepairing some one's report becuse they ~~DO NOT KNOW~~ how to do so? or make a c.v for some one who is 27 years old with 4-5 years of experience !.. some times its just over demanding , and the funny thing i would wake up one day to find that my to do list labeled with peoples names, e-mails and phone numbers with close deadlines for their urgent needs !..
which drags me most of the times to bad prioritizing ,, and i get trapped with piles of to do's and starts to skip deadlines of my own work.

So what i do instead , i try to clarify that i do not have time, to do the thing that this person is asking me to do , and this has not hing to do with :

Me loving you as a friend , of course i do love you !if i do not, you will not be seeing my face !
Me respecting your needs, of course i do and so shall you !
Me being selfish , yes i am . because my skills are my skills , i can help out develop yours but not give you mine!
Me being arrogant , if i was so you would not became friends with me from the first place.
You being a burden on me, do not worry if you are i will tell you to back off or throw you away !
You being insulted, it's called growing up and doing your own stuff.
You feeling not smart, some people are not smart but they work hard its a metter of choice !
You feeling hurt, what are we Fourth grade !

Its just , i have a better use for my time to do some thing that is mine !.. thats all !..

Some times i state this out loud ,that people might feel hurt , or disapointed but again : i am not Dr. phil and i promied nothing when we became friends !

I admit it i was not like this a year ago, but time tought me that its only you who decide what important and whats not for your self , and yes i beleive of healthy human relationships but i am no saint !.. and so are you my dear readers.

No matter what , never let some one else be Number one in your list , becuse if its not you its not your list !

So put on that garlic mask and spary on the holy water, its time to burn those time vampires .

Ladies At Work ( Tips to keep your sense and sensibility !)

Some people would assume that by time a woman would loose her spark by working in a any field, as most of the fields that makes actual money are based on mix genders working together , and adding the fact of a conservative or ( ~~WHAT SO CALLED !~~! ) and Muslim culture that we have , a woman who wants to keep her career on the tops must behave and act as her other male colleagues .

Well from my point of view , a lady should never give up what God gave her for another Given thing from God !! Money !... she can have it all , and still get more, not being greedy and demanding ! just trusting her talents & instinct!

There are so many ways for a lady to take and yet keep a strong promising career for her !

I will list few things that would turn your life into heaven instead of a constant war at a mixed working environment:

A Lady :

A lady never raise her voice , never , ever !
A lady must respect herself , more than respecting others , a self image is mirrored through a woman's eyes & clothing !
A lady never exaggerates in the make up, remember you are intersetd in the moeny in the bussinessmen's pockets ! not the men themselves !
A lady wears high heels for two reasons , superiority if a woman looks taller than every one in the meeting room , or for equality if she looks just fine between the other men !
Small acts ; like waiting for the door to be opened to you , or looking for a seat to be give to you, or waiting to be escorted and not left alone !! small things makes a man feel that he is obliged to give you more attention , and more respect starting from your seat reaching the yearly budget for your department ! Yes as simple as that !.
A lady should never talk back to any coleague who acted rude against you , specially not in public , a lady must leave the place immediatly and let every one else fight for her !she shall enjoy & Use the condolence and the acts of help coming from every one else in what ever form she wants from getting her a nice warm cup of coffe to doig quarterly reports !
A lady is always polite , and her eyes are always looking to the neck /chin area while talking to a male colegue , a woman shall never raise her eyes and look into the eyes of another man unless its a die or live situation ! or another romantic situation which better not be taking place any where close to work!!
Always keeps her nails polished and clean , and not colored ! it only brings low taste & nonprofessional when having weird colors on your nails while doing a presentation or signiung an agreement .. if you want to look fashionalble you have plenty of other places to do so !!
A lady's posture , and the way she moves have a great effect of how she is percieved , a lady should always look fresh , clean , and sparkling , even in her worst cases , she should look the best in the worst !
A lady never hold things or pick stuff , she might politely ask for another male friend to help her out , it gives her a sense of comfort and a fake sense of domination for the male !! what ever... who cares !
A lady shall drink and eat in the most quite and appropriate way .
A lady must have female friends from the working environemt , you do not want to turn into a cat fight every now and then , let the cats fight for you !! not against you !!..
A lady shall laugh in a quite manner and express her feelings freely but in an appropriate way" never joke around with the guys , you will end up feeling awkward any ways !"
Finally a lady must put her self ahead , meaning to put her family name , her origins, and her dignity ahead of every thing and act upon objective goals and not subjective ones , for a long healthy career life .

These are strictly my personal ideas !! and remember there are always situation where you take drastic changes and actions that you normally have never taken ... it a all a mater of sense and sensibility!

The Reason why People are Not Happy in Jordan Or Does Not look Like so ! Part1

Everyone is just not happy !..

It’s been a while .. a long while since the last time i have heard any one saying : oh, i love my Life ! or i would never trade what i have with any thing else !

~~Now , there must be some thing wrong with the people ! or their lives!!~~
I live in a country where the negative attitude comes by Default !.. Jordanian are known with the negative tune and UN -happy lives they have , never the less, a person would have a nice car, good house, children , beautiful wife(Relatively) 3 mobile phones, 3 if not 5 bank accounts and spends more then (500+JD=almost 700$) a month while his or her salary is (300 JD = almost 500$) !!!.. ( This is considered normal living rate salary)

Its the norm .. we spend more than we have , or what we can afford ! thats for sure !and i have no idea how we manage to do so !... ( as we do not believe in the credibility of Credit Cards YET !!)

Now , what really gets me thinking , why do we feel UN-happy !? if things are what make a person happy ! or children !? or money !? . why does a whole population of almost 7 million people feel UN-happy !? there must be something !..

I have never met a REAL happy accomplished person in jordan, and if i have met him or her , he or she will be furiously angry about how much people are retarted and backward! and he or she will give me a presentation of their escape plan to Canada, Australia or the USA!?

I would really appreciate your comments about this ! i have my own explanations , but i would rather hear your ideas before stating what i think , because simply i might be wrong !

Please Correct me !... Why People In Jordan feel Un-Happy Most of the time!... and spare me the
( Ohh People are happy in Jordan !!) because they Do Not Look So !!

Hello ,

So i was going through You Tube checking out the new music relaeses for some Hindi singers !( Like its kinda normal for a muslim arabic girl from jordan to do that !^_^) .. and i could not stop humming (Yeh Tera Nera Milna ) by Himesh rashmiya , so was it .... i started searching what is new for him this year !! and oops Look what i have found !!

This Guy is super smart ... and i just can not imagine how much of hard work , coordination and traveling he had to do to shoot these songs ... so beautifully .. now .. i say this because ( foe thise who does not know Himesh Rashmiya ) this man is no actor ... he is a singer , and a pay back singer ,, which means he sings in the background for other actors in hindi movies ,, and it was not until January 2006 .. until he relased his 1st movie Aapka Suroor , he was recongnised as an actor and a singer , he produce his own films ( almost all of them ) and he is the music director for the songs ...

Time is essential, but isn't there these times where you just feel like you have nothing to do , still have tons to do and you just give up.. because it will not be enough to do it !

There is one thing wrong in this way of thinking and that is ,you can not do them all with the free time you have this afternoon ! you just can do one thing and you have to make sure you have done it well so you do not keep thinking about it , and make sure this time is a free time and you are not supposed to be some where or taking a rest , because it will just make your head spin faster and feel no sense of accomplishment after you are done !

are some time killing Hacks , and Productivity tricks that can be done within an hour as a max , if you put enough dedication, effort and focus !

Do not check your mail , automatically , this time archive it and delete all spam’s and un-Important mail. You have been procrastinating this since ever i guess it’s time to do it now.
Make sure you have all your friends birthdates on your cell phone calendar, so you remember sending them a text Msg or a gift!
Update you’re linked In profile!
Go for a long walk, and try to focus your mind on the three most procrastinated things in your life and when you get back home, put a date and do it !
Clean up your closet, put a time limit for the process as an Hour Max, loud music can help you get over your overwhelming emotions when you see the mess , just divide your clothes into three 3 piles: keep, wear and keep , & give away.
Arrange your certificates and formal papers. ( if you have them already arranged, start cross referencing them and making sure you have at least 3 copies of each , just in case you needed any !)
Bring a blank paper and a pen: write down the names of 10 people that you haven’t heard from or contacted since the last year , do not write more than 10, even if you remember more , these are the ones that your unconscious mind and senses knows that they need to be contacted. Start searching in your old phone books, e-mail directories and contact them via e-mail, phone, or SMS I prefer Telephone it’s the most personal way to say: i remember you and i care about you.
Start reading the book you have always been looking forward to read (Make sure you have it in hand , if not do not waste time Googling for free books).
Organize your drawers: drowning in clutter and cannot find that card or your cell phone charger, set your phone timer and make it a challenge to organize it all in 30 Minutes, start by two steps, What to keep , and what’s not to keep . Throw these away , and get back to your useful stuff and organize them. (You can Get innovative if you have time to put dividers or put types of stuff that belongs together in special drawer, and now you know where to find your old watches and unused SIM Cards!
Check out your fridge and closets for old expired medications and throw them away. Do not forget to write down the names on a small tag and stick it on the fridge in case you still use these medications so you remember to buy them some time.
If you have a car , go get a trash bag, and clean it up or tidy in case it needs so !
Get a trash bag and do a quick tour on your make up or body care closet at bathroom or your dresser, do not think this is still fine or this still has some left overs, just grab what needs to be trashed and throw it away ( there are people living on your Trash, let them enjoy some of your left overs !)
Time to fix the cables mess, just grab some colored tapes you have , if you have fun colors that would be awesome ( purple, green , blue,etc..) And start grouping the cables and chords each to its plug and to its group! You can get innovative by using white tape or stickers and write down on it what chord is this used for !, i have done this and it’s amazing how I now save time and effort and never lose control fighting these cables !
Clean up your cell phone, old SMS from last Eid or Christmas!, notes that you cannot remember when or why you wrote them ,weird names in your phone book ! Just Mark them and delete the mess forever!
Arrange your play lists on your I pod or mobile, but make sure you do not start listening to the songs instead of organizing them!
Clean up your kitchen closet and make sure you have buy what is missing , like if you have flour , eggs, vanilla, oil but no milk or baking powder , what’s the use ! Write them down on a small paper and stick it to your fridge so you remember buying them later.
Check out your old piles of DVDs , just go over them make sure all are in their covers and if you are OK with giving up on some of them , give them to friend or put them for sale , each 10 by 25Piasters !
Make sure you do not have any clothes piles hanging on the back of your room door ! A gentle man or a lady must have his or her room as a Heaven on earth!
Pamper your self by using the free time in some body care Home spa, arrange some lemons , oils and scented candles and spend the evening relaxing under the shower or in a dark room with your favorite music on!
Put on some loud crazy music and start jumping and dancing with no goal but to move those stiff shoulders and sore legs! Some action will make your blood circles well in your body and you will feel great after 5 minutes only !

4 days...Old!

It feels like I was born now! I don't care how old I am, numbers mean nothing...and here some things that you might not know about me!

I care about animals!
I still count stars, when I look to the sky!
I look for sheep shape clouds when stopping at a traffic light!
I speak 2 languages that no one around me understands!
I have been to lots of places in my life, but my mom's arms are the best place I have ever been to!
I keep a photo of my father's grave in my purse to remind me that he is dead, as I still think he is with me all the time.
I keep record of people likes and hates, so I do all what they like, and when they hurt me I remind them that I never did what they hate.
I still memorize the multiplication table!
I never step on ants.
I have never grew nails and never used nail polish!
My favorite animals are panda’s, cats and kwala bears! When I go to heaven I will have hundreds of them!
I believe I will go to heaven!
I like the fact that I try my best to keep friends but always put my family ahead!
I never drank coffee, or smoked!
I never think of revenge, and when something bad happens to the people who hurt me, I hi 5 myself & try to help them!
I leave mom notes in my pockets when she checks them for laundry!
Still think of escaping from the house and ask for a ransom and then spend it on gifts to my family!
I hide 20Jd's in my jackets and trousers , and act like I found a treasure that I didn’t know about !( well it feels like that !)
I express my admiration to people in their face and behind their back! I admit there are lots of people who are better than me and I look up to them!
When I am sad, I write down things that made me sad on a piece of paper , and burn it!
When I am lonely I make a cake and give it to my friends!
I play piano only when I feel that I made so many sins!
I read Qur’an like a book! And I underline verses that I love!
I read bibles and enjoy the stories and prayers of what they hold in meaning and not words!
I brush my teeth every time I eat each day, that can reach 23 times! :S
I never judge people but make them judge me, and hate those who make me tell them how they are or what they should do!
I believe my life is a game and I should play all the time!
I believe I will die young.
I believe in angels.
I believe angels can kick devils asses
I have three angels that I see in my dreams and they help me when ever I have a bad dream, they are tall, brown and wearing black suites and have soft breads!
I hate people who leave food in their plates.
I eat everything , even things that I hate
I smile to people while walking and believe I made their days better by doing so.
I believe toys wake up at night and play without me!
I hate mirrors; I don’t need a mirror to tell me how I look!
I am not scared of blood, or dead people.
I can be friends with anyone but still believe there is nothing called true friendship!

I smell everything I use, even pens! I don't know why!
I pick flowers and apologize for the trees but I can’t resist flowers!
I have a wall in my room that I write down whatever I think about on it!

I do experiments on people voices and detect their fake facts, Just for fun!
I never talk back or be rude to those who are older than me.
When I lose something I talk to my three angels to help me find it, and sometimes I find it!
I believe being realistic makes people think I am pessimistic , but I don’t care I like myself this way , and I will try to keep my ideas to myself so I don’t disturb them :)
I try my best to like people I hate!
I believe that my soul leaves me and stand right by my side, and makes me appreciate it more! Then it hugs me back :)

Here are 10 things to do in an Idle Day at the office :

1- Check your forgotten e-mails .( 2 Hours )

i had over 1000 e-mails in one of my e-mail accounts , i checked them all and forwarded 345 e-mails today .. i can tell about 6 jokes per minuet , and nothing any one would say for the next 2 weeks will seem new as i Know it all now !

2-Google every thing you have ever wondered about like : who is Anil Kapoor's wife !?How Many hours Madonna Works Out !?( 1 Hour)

3- Make a cup of tea , and leave it to cool off , then drink some and make another one as the first one is too cold now !( 30 Minuets)

4-Clean up your desk .I didn't clean it up , i just faked it . i was too lazy to do so!(1 Hour)

5- Pray sunnah. If you are of those who pray , or Pray at Work Times !( 45 Minuets if you are sincere !) But if you were sincere from the first place you would not be doing this to Skip Work ! I guess !

6-Send sms to old friends, those who got Barried , oh sorry I mean Got Married ! and forgot they ever existed before they met their Soul Mates !( 20 Minutes)

7- Open every single WORD and EXCEL doc. on your computer " to give the Impression that You are working and Multi-Tasking !"( Safety Procedure in case Your Boss Popped out from no where !)

8-Download evry single song you have ever remembered or hummed for the last two weeks.and upload it on your Mobile or I-Pod .( 2 Hours )

9-Check Out cool Blogs around your Blog If You are a blogger, Read Japanese cool Magazines Online , or read some Hindi Movies Reviews ! For A Change !.. ( 2 Hours )

10- Make a Hero of yourself and volunteer to order Lunch today instead of ordering and waiting for stupid delivery man who gets lost every single time !( 2 Hours )

so if you choose any 4 of these options you will pass at least 4 Hours of the 8 ours ! Voila !

Doing this for more than 7 days will get you fired within the next 7 days !

Grow Up ... Oh Come On You Are A Grown Up !

Words we hear evry day .. and we just pass by the letters not thinking of what exactly do they mean !.. I sat for 15 minuites and thought of the word and here is what i came to in conclusion So far :

Growing up means : more days spent doing important things .. as we all think of our sleves doing so !~

Grwoing Up means :Knowing how dollars comes and go .where does the bill comes from .. Oh Yes bills do no fall from the sky .. Imagine that i thought that those envelops i use to find in our house front yard were sent from the sky !!!

Growing up means. Responsibility which means in content : Not Being able to do what ever you want with who ever you choose, where ever you like , when ever its possible !

Growing up means: being looked for as a live encyclopedia . so you should know all about politics , history art religion etc .. i do not know how you can handle this , but start reading early buddy !

Growing up menas : More of the people you know growing up also ,, so its gonna be a mess for them too which means , all your friends are crappy as you are !

Growing up means : that there will be younger people calling you mr ms mom , dad , uncle and and aunt ! holly shi$%? when did that happen?

Growing up means: you have to start sharing and giving what you got .. whith your wife , husband and children ,, Not Nice either !

Growing up means : means more of the people who are older than you ..getting older and dying ! Not Nice :(

One Missing thing is Missing !

My Father Passed away , and now ...
I remeber when i heard the words.. i felt . weird . like i ve lost my Back ! my neck , my heart , maybe my eyes , and breathing is not an easy thing ! now we have more oxygen and less of his breaths and warm Looks ..his hands playing on my hair the sounds of his dreams ,, No more of Any of these.. And i do not cry No more ! Never since !

Its weird how a person grow up within a day ..i do not claim wisdom, but things have deeper meanings and God is cose to each one of us ,, wether we like it or not , we are going to Go !

Life is more meaningful and meaningless ...

Real life.. i now face, with real people who Hate , leave , and Kill!
Real commitment toward Poeple you need, services you cant live without and some how never worried about their next bill before but now You do !

Some times i realize how much i was selfish by thinking of doing stuff, going places, and earning things that others desrve more than me !

Being a part of Family is something and being Family for some one is another thing !

I enjoy being needed by others , it makes me appreciate Life for being so kind with me and giving what others need ...

why it has to be this way , !!!! ??
i thoght i was done of heart breaks & disapointments ,, at least for a week!!
i cant rememeber , when was the last time ...that some thing i wanted actually hapened!!
i dont want to victimise my self , but ,,i m so done ,, of being a victim!!
i ve tried to fix evry thing , & it didnt work ..... i tried to fix one thing & it didnt work... i tried to fix myself & it didnt work!!

it seems that some people have to struggle all their lives !! to prove that they deserve to live!!! & finally die over it !! & who knows ,, maybe i m not going to heaven after all , & will be facing the second hell ,,!! after my death!!

i am not saying that i m going to give up.. cuz i cant .. not now!!
if i give up .. or even if i think of giving up ,, it means simply ,, i will quit living!! & i m not giving that treat to the cursed devil!

i ll just keep on holding to my thoghts , my beleifs ,, not my dreams & hopless wishes !!!

I now have only three!!!
GOD all mighty allah to help me !
Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) to guide me & set example when i lose it !

i've been thinking for the last 44 days ..trying to figure out what do i want.. to do now ..!!

its kinda funny.. because 45 days ago i was pretty sure of what i want.. but i have never thoght ... or gave more than a 15 minuites of electrical gaze..of my mind!..
i never thoght ... of .. wether i ... CAN... WANT!

yes, in some places in the world regardless of being, old or young..man or woman.. muslim,christian.jew or whatever!!??

YOU HAVE TO THINK OF .. IF YOU CAN WANT !???

how is that..??

well, it all starts when i started ( few years ago) to dream.. of achivable things.. like ... having a bike.. or playing piano....or to be in the school bastcketball team!

when we dream.. we have this stand still peak of happiness moment.. in our minds..
thats ok...we all know that.. but really.. can a dream last for a year or two!! even achivable stupid dreams..

by time ..riding a bike.. might become a sin!..
by time ..playing piano..might become a privilage!
by time ..playing bascketball.. might become ( something that NO ONE AROUND YOU do!)!

i am no more a kid that would have privilages & make sins without being judge according to them?!

now i realise .. that as i grew up i lost so many things .. that i cant have ..just because.. i m older ..& one of these things is ...the ABILITY of wanting!

now i have to make my own calculations of wether i can want to walk in the street !!at 7 am in the morning!..9 am ..11.am...(12pm to 4pm not possible for countless reasons!)...7pm...8:30pm..!! thats the most acceptable !! of being able to want to go for a walk.. just a walk .. to move legs..! to think.. to just walk!

a walk can change your life forever ! u know !!

sometimes i think for at least 10 min. weather i can look outside my window!!
its not that i cant .. its about what would happen if i do!

one glance.. one shout of some stupid boy.... can ruin your life & reputations .. as a woman or sometimes as a man too!! really ...regardless of if i was doing a wrong or right thing..no one will beleive you..just because.. before a 1000 year some one has looked out side their window with EVIL intentions!

i ve became oriented in to the ..( think of the sequences of what you think )!!...

so.. i became DREAMLESS!.. ,, yaaaa... I dont DREAM!

cuz achivable dreams are banned or limited of its own achivability.. & un-achivable drems are so,, of their own properties too!!

so in reality you are not achiving your dreams as much as you are fulfilling your goal of achiving them.. ! & a GOAL IS NOT A DREAM! its the dream's DOOR & reality is it's broken key!..

so i thought , i should stick to what i have .. & think if a can want more! & do my calculations... expectations.. bla bla bla ..

this way i'll never be disappointed... of my self or any one else..!!
i just say ..
I CANT WANT THIS !! i ll think of some thing I CAN WANT!

so now i ll be thinking of what I CAN WANT FOR MY CARRIER AS A HEALTH CARE MANAGMENT DIRECTOR!..

..Strange city...strange faces ..strange sounds , empty spaces.....

I'm walking without myself,,& wondering .. why i haven't call you lately .. ..
i have been away for so long from my only friend... that strange person who can make my every thing strange .. normal ..that ..ME......

once i was thinking & talking to the clouds..& reminding them ..how they used to call my name .. when i forget to draw a smile in them ..every morning ....& all the strange things .. would turn back to be normal..

the whole ..world is white .. colourless ..the colours has lift ..& where i am ..?? i am gone too ..my sweet memory ...knitted with golden rays in my shawl..sending its hums.. to the birds so they can fly..

this happiness in life is mine.. this shadows of the sun are mine ..

these..lost body & soul .. have found themselves ...like my prayers found my MASJID....

Every river is thirsty for its own water .. my own eyes are thirsty for its own tears ...
my answers are looking for their questions...
the sky.. is losing its blueness...

Since i moved away from my family i could never put the scene all together ; there were always some missing pieces in my life ,actually there were lost pieces before i came to collage , but they were useless & replicable with brand new ones since that minuet my mother holds me in her arms.. that place of mine.. the safest place on earth .. it was countless times i was ready to let go my life & die in those arms .. because i thought they were the safest painless place to die in!!

she was & still every thing in my life ..she taught me every thing i know & gave me the SPARK to figure out what ever i figured out by my own..

i cant remember if there were a time that mom wasn't there in my mind ..its like all what i think about is (ALL MIGHTY GOD),(profit Mohammad),& (mom) ...!!!!

when i miss her .. i just close my eyes.. & i can almost smell her shoulders when she hugs me.. this beautiful creature ..

she is human yes.. i know ..one day she will leave ,, but its OK eman ..you'll see her in few years .. & you will never be apart then ...

i try my best to please her ..as she pleases me by every thing she does..using what ever she can use..

some times i look around me & i see my peers losing their minds trying to figure out what do they want to become in few years ...& i wounder is it that hard ..!! because i know what i want to become ..
i want to BE my mother...& fulfil what ever she ever dreamt of being..
i know it sound weird .. but when i think about it ...over & over &over.. i find that she is the woman i want to BE..with all her UPS & downs!!!

i think that all girls start by their mother as their models .. but by time they get less useful & more complicated...that they cant understand their mothers any more & then start to see their mothers as every one sees them .. they see their mothers as .... i guess people!!!.. ordinary people or sometimes less than ordinary ..& here stops the dream ..no more i want to become like MAMA...

they start to search for a new tycoon .. some times a teacher , a relative .. a star .. or some times a peer in school that they think ... she is cool& perfect!!!!

& finally they reach the point where no one is good enough to become....but they forget that you cant BECOME some one .. you only can BE that one!!.. how is that!!???
it comes with your genes weather you like it or not .. one day you ll wake up 7 see your mothers face in the bathrooms mirror!!...

& rare those who can be their mothers & fathers .. in the new version as we can call it !!..

so .. i think for me it started when i was young like any girl.. i want to be like MAMA.. but as i was growing up.. i could never see any one more beautiful , clever sophisticated,humbled,funny, warm hearted, sweet,loving , caring ,nice,&good at cooking .... than her!!...

the more i know her the more she fascinates me ..& the more i want to know her even more.... by days passing by .. it became impossible to find any one who actually looks like her .. or thinks like her or sounds like her .....or even cooks like her!!.. because she is my mother .. the reason i am here..!!

now when i talk to her some times i feel like i am talking to my self .. to my mirror..i feel like there is no need to get all scared when i loose my self .. because all what i need to do is to look into my mother's eyes & there i can see my eyes & know myself..again ...

there were times .. i lost my self that i forgot where to find me...!!! i couldn't see i couldn't eat.. i couldn't speak .. & when i did my actions were EFFECT LESS!!.. like i was some air passing by....
but it was just for few days that she would call me & in a second i get all the flashes in my head & here i am " SAME OLD EMAN"....
this unbreakable me & mam..bond,, its Allah's gift .. for me in this life ...& in the next one "inshlah"..

thank you DEAR GOD for giving me the reason to live ...the reason why i came to life .. my MOTHER..my SELF..

It was before couple of days when I , A friend , & an employee of at least 10 years of experience in the administrative medical field sat for about an hour & he TALKED HIS MIND OUT .. & here it came! the ugly truth!

I admit it ,i was not shocked of the frustration & helplessness this employee felt , BECAUSE yet he SEEMED OK! still OK for other employees.. & he is the one they envy!!

It all started because of greed! some extra 300 JD's!!.. can make a difference for greedy people!!

I kinda pity the man , when you look at his face you can say lines of salaries he had lost for some stupid lost sick leaves!!.. or some irrational consistency problems he had in his work flow!!.. YA RIGHT...

But now i will say what shocked me the most is that he himself has turned to be exactly what he was against .exactly like the people who literally smashed him into pieces ..

Is that the right reaction to such out of control circumstances !!.. maybe ..
but if we said maybe for every time we see such a person .. then there will be a time that we ourselves will say yes( it will happen to us & we will become these people!!)

It's been since ever that people face such difficulties in their lives & their work positions but i believe that those who have weak faith & loose rules who can turn to be what they hate !!

But those who have strong beliefs will never give up , & please do not come up with the idea of .. every body is doing it why should i be the one to quit!!

Because if every body thinks so no one will be going to heaven after his life 10 years from now !!

There will be no good men left!!!!!

but be sure that if i am still alive i ll be the last girl standing.
